1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Thymly ("we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the Thymly mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using Thymly, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and have read and agree to these Terms.
2. Description of service
Thymly is an AI-powered personal chef mobile application that provides:
- AI-generated recipe suggestions based on your pantry contents and preferences
- Pantry inventory management via camera scanning, manual entry, and grocery sync
- Meal planning and weekly schedule organization
- Smart shopping list generation with grocery app integration (Instacart, Kroger, Walmart, Amazon)
- Calorie and nutrition tracking with barcode scanning
- Health-conscious recipe substitutions and dietary goal tracking
- Chef persona-styled cooking guidance and AI chat assistance
3. User accounts
- You must create an account to use Thymly's full features
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You must provide accurate information when creating your account
- You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others without permission
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
4. AI-generated content disclaimer
Thymly's recipes, meal suggestions, and nutrition information are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. This content does not constitute medical advice, dietary advice, or professional nutritional guidance.
- Thymly recipes and nutrition data are estimates and may not be accurate for your specific health needs
- If you have a medical condition, food allergy, or specific dietary requirement, consult a qualified healthcare provider or registered dietitian before making dietary changes based on Thymly suggestions
- Calorie and macro counts generated by Thymly are approximations and may vary from actual values
- Thymly is not a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, or dietary advice
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Thymly to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of the Service
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app
- Use automated tools or bots to access the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
6. Intellectual property
- Thymly and all its content, features, and functionality are owned by Thymly and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws
- You retain ownership of the personal data you enter into Thymly (your pantry items, food logs, and meal plans)
- You grant Thymly a limited license to process your data to provide the Service to you
- AI-generated recipes produced by Thymly based on your pantry inputs are provided to you for personal use
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Missouri law and applicable law, Thymly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Missouri.
9. Changes to terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. Continued use of Thymly after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Subscription & billing terms
All Thymly subscriptions are processed and managed exclusively through the Apple App Store. Thymly never directly handles your payment information. For billing support, contact Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com
Subscription plans
- Free — basic pantry scanning, up to 5 recipes per month, shopping list
- Thymly Premium — $6.99/month — unlimited recipes, all 30 chef personas, full calorie and nutrition tracker with barcode scanning, weekly meal planning, grocery sync (Instacart, Kroger, Walmart, Amazon), Apple Health integration, Projects goal tracking, Chef Chat
Free trial
Thymly Premium includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. You will not be charged during the trial period. After the 7-day trial, your subscription automatically renews at $6.99 per month unless you cancel before the trial ends.
- Trial length: 7 days from the date of subscription
- Eligibility: free trials are available to new Thymly Premium subscribers only — one per Apple ID
- At the end of the 7-day trial, your subscription automatically renews at $6.99/month
- To avoid being charged, you must cancel before the trial period ends
Billing and renewal
- Thymly Premium is billed at $6.99 per month, charged to your Apple ID
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
- Renewal charges occur within 24 hours prior to the end of the current subscription period
- You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time in iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Thymly
Cancellation
- You may cancel your Thymly Premium subscription at any time through your Apple ID subscription settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to premium features until then
- Cancelling does not delete your account or data
- To cancel: iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Thymly → Cancel Subscription
Refunds
All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. Thymly does not issue refunds directly. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple's refund policy governs all transactions.
