Delete Your Account

We're sorry to see you go. You can delete your ThymlyChef account at any time. This page explains how — and what happens to your data when you do.

This action is permanent. Deleting your account removes all your data including pantry, recipes, meal plans, nutrition history, and preferences. This cannot be undone.

How to delete your account

Option 1 — From the app

Open ThymlyChef
Launch the app on your device and make sure you're signed in to the account you want to delete.

Go to Profile
Tap the Kitchen Tray at the bottom of the screen, then tap the Profile tile.

Tap "Delete Account"
Scroll to the bottom of your Profile settings and tap Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm.

Confirm deletion
Enter your password or use Face ID to confirm. Your account will be scheduled for deletion immediately.

Option 2 — Email us

If you no longer have access to the app, email us and we'll delete your account manually within 5 business days.

What gets deleted

Data retention after deletion

Once you confirm deletion, your account and all associated personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

Anonymized, aggregated usage data (which cannot be linked back to you) may be retained for service improvement purposes.

If you have an active paid subscription, please cancel it through your App Store or Play Store account settings before deleting your account. Deleting your ThymlyChef account does not automatically cancel an active App Store or Play Store subscription.

Changed your mind?

If you deleted your account and want to return, you're always welcome back. Simply create a new account at thymlychef.com or in the app.
