How does ThymlyChef work?
Tell your chef what's in your kitchen and what you're in the mood for. It builds a full recipe from what you have, tracks what you use, adds missing items to your shopping list, and can plan your whole week or a dinner party.
Is my data private?
Yes. ThymlyChef is local-first — your pantry, recipes, meal plans, and nutrition logs live on your device, and we never sell your data. We only send data off your phone when it's needed to answer a request, like generating a recipe. The free tier is ad-supported, so an advertising partner collects some device data to show ads; Chef's Table is completely ad-free with no ad-related collection. Full details in our Privacy policy.
Do I need an account?
You can try the live demo with no account at all. An account is only needed to sync a paid subscription.
What do I get for free vs. Chef's Table?
Free starts with a 14-day full-access trial. After that, you keep My Kitchen (full pantry), My Chef (10 recipes a month), Nutrition, and your Shopping List — with occasional ads, and without a saved-recipe library. Chef's Table is the whole app, ad-free: unlimited recipes, your full saved library, full Chef Chat, Meal Plan, the Event Planner, the recipe scanner, grocery deep links, and Apple Health sync.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Manage or cancel any time in your App Store account settings. Deleting the app alone doesn't cancel billing.
Can ThymlyChef handle allergies and diets?
Set your dietary preferences and dislikes and your chef will work around them. Because recipes are AI-generated, always double-check ingredients for allergens yourself — see the note in our Terms.
Is there an Android version?
ThymlyChef launches on iOS first. Android is on the roadmap — join the Sprig Pass to hear when it's ready.
How do I delete my account?
Email us and we'll delete your account and its data. Full steps are on the Delete account page.
