Frequently asked questions
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple App Store or Google Play. On iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → ThymlyChef → Cancel. On Android: Google Play → Subscriptions → ThymlyChef → Cancel. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not delete your account.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, not by ThymlyChef directly. On iOS, request a refund at
reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android, contact Google Play support. If you have a unique billing situation, email us and we'll do our best to help.
Why isn't the recipe chef responding?
If the chef assistant isn't responding, try closing and reopening the app. Check your internet connection. If the issue persists, email us at hello@thymlychef.com with a brief description of what happened and what device you're using.
How do I reset my password?
On the login screen, tap "Forgot password" and enter your email address. You'll receive a reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive.
My pantry data disappeared — what happened?
Pantry data is tied to your account and synced to the cloud. Make sure you're signed into the same account. If data is missing after a sign-in, email us right away and include your account email — we can investigate and restore from backups when possible.
How do I connect ThymlyChef to Apple Health?
Go to Profile in the app, then tap Nutrition Settings, then Connect Apple Health. You'll be prompted to grant permission. You can also manage this in iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → ThymlyChef.
Is ThymlyChef available on Android?
ThymlyChef is launching on iOS first. Android is coming — sign up for early access on our
home page and we'll notify you when it's available.
How do I delete my account and all my data?
Visit our
Delete Account page for full instructions. You can delete from within the app or by emailing us directly.
